In the 1960’s Jean Velut and his wife had to give up their farm land near the city of Troyes. They instead moved to land they held in Champagne and decided to develop a vineyard. Today they have seven and a half hectares of land and farm this sustainably. This dark, intense, brooding rose has lots of red fruits; mullberry and blackcurrant, with a big structure that makes it ideal to pair with roasted duck or a meat based pasta.
