Macallan 1937 Select Reserve is a rare collection of spirit matured in cask in our very own warehouse here in Kilnhill. This whisky is only available as part of The Macallan Private Collection, which is exclusive to selected importers worldwide.

Macallan Select Reserve 1937 is a rich and complex whisky with a character expressive of the distillery’s rich history. It was matured in Sherry oak casks for 51 years, creating a dense, deep and rich liquid that is as full as it is luxurious.

Macallan 1937 Select Reserve is one of the rarest and most sought-after single malts ever made. The exceptional collaboration of art, nature and time delivers a liquid that has been created over 80 years ago and bottled in 1984 from a series of casks filled in 1937. This highly limited offering is hand numbered in an edition of only 1,737 bottles, presented in a handcrafted decanter designed by renowned distiller’s glassmaker Georges Melet.

This whisky is the perfect combination of age, colour and tasting notes. This one has spent 20 years maturing in oak casks, the result is ultra smooth with a deep golden amber colour, subtle fruity characteristics and mellow spicy characters.
