This exceptional single cask from Macallan is a bold and robust expression bottled at 46% ABV. The nose conjures notes of coffee, sandalwood, & sweet spice. Flavours of leather, oak, vanilla and smoke come together along with hints of cinnamon spice on the finish.

This exceptional single malt from The Macallan Distillery, comes from a Sherry cask and was distilled in 2018. Its intense golden colour confirms its age with notes of peppermint oil and marzipan, reminding us of Christmas treats. The maturation of this Scotch whisky in sherry casks is what gives it its unique character: delicate smoke, dried fruits (dates) and figs. A mouth-watering sensation!

Macallan Exceptional Single Cask, 48 YO Macallan single malt whisky, distilled in 1978 and recasked in 2015, by the distillery’s head distiller Bob Dalgarno. This cask experiment is the first of its kind at Macallan and it allows The Macallan to showcase the breadth of expression that comes through when very old stocks are re-born in new oak casks.

This rare and precious release from distillery takes you on a journey through time. Find the most delicate top notes of honey, flowers and heather which lead to an exquisite middle note of cinnamon, with a finish that combines fruitiness with light floral notes.

This Single Malt Scotch Whisky is created from whisky which was aged in a single sherry cask for a minimum of 21 years. This product was released by The Macallan Distillery in 2015. Its nose is dominated by aromas of dried fruits, green apples and citrus. Its mouthfeel is sweet and silky, with flavors of caramel, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Its finish is short to medium in length and has a strong alcohol burn at the end.

This exceptional Single Cask whisky has been aged in a first fill sherry seasoned oak cask and offers a rich, intense flavour profile. It delivers flavours of dried fruits such as figs, raisins and dates with a sharpness like citrus peel. The finish combines creamy malt flavours with fruit sweetness.

Macallan is known to age its whisky in the same barrels across multiple batches, but the company has recently launched a new program called Exceptional Single Cask. Single casks are typically only available in special editions–these are available only in Asia and Europe.
