The legend was created exclusively for the market in China: as part of the cooperation project between The Macallan and Inner City Films (ICF). This whiskey is aged in barrels made from Sauternes casks from Bordeaux winemakers, who are renowned for their rich, sweet wine.

The Macallan M Black is a rare, limited edition single malt Scotch whisky and is part of distillery’s classic series. This whisky was distilled in 1938 and matured in American oak casks for more than 80 years before being bottled at the RMWO Distillery in Macallan, Speyside, Scotland.

Macallan vatted malt is an exceptional whisky, with a delightful complexity of tones. This 18-year old is a refined and sophisticated single malt in which to enjoy the Speyside region’s greatest contribution to Scotch whisky, not just the Macallan. It combines oloroso sherry casks with ex-bourbon barrels that deliver a rich spirit.
