A blend of mature Yamazaki 12 Year Old and some of the unchillfiltered, natural color hazy spirit from the Shinshu malted barley stock that was used by Yoichi Sakai-San to make his first Single Malt Whisky. The result is a whisky of sublime complexity and depth that shows impressive finesse for a whisky distilled at such a young age. The final product was bottled without chill-filtration or any artificial coloring – instead, we’ve preserved those naturally occurring flavors and aromas you’d expect from a very versatile malt whiskey such as this.
