The Yamazaki Special Releases Limited Edition 2022 is a blend of 5-year-old Japanese malt whisky and 6-year-old grain whisky. The combination of these whiskies gives the whisky rich complex flavours and aromas that play excellently together.

Yamazaki Limited Edition 2023 has a solid oakwood box. It has a frosted bottle design and a special edition of 2023 printed on it, which makes it stand out amongst other Japanese whisky products. The first batch of 1500 bottles are produced to commemorate the bicentenary year of Japan’s isolation policy being lifted.

This was a bold move for both the company and its founder Masataka Taketsuru, who started making whisky in Japan in 1918. Now, Yamazaki has challenged itself again: To create a special limited-edition whisky at 110 years old using 33 smaller casks (previous releases were from just one large cask).
